i was thrown this question by my darling ben early this mornin'...rite before he went off to work...wanna know what the question is?? its whether im ready for kl??


well,frankly...ive a lil' doubt bout moving bout moving back to kl...reason being - we've been in malacca for a good four years now...so,its like we're already in our comfort zone now,n the idea of going to live at the new place (if i may say so...kl is not really new to me...ive been raised there...till i quit my job,n eventually follow my darling ben to jb...) is giving me a bit of cold feet...but dont get me wrong,i luv kl...luv all the eateries there,be it warung or kedai mamak,u can always finds great foods around the clock...n theres sooo many great malls,what can i say...its a gals thingy!! shopping!!


but,my main concern is the TRAFFIC!! its horrifying!! i can still reminiscence how ive to embrace myself with the almost-stand-still-traffic-jammed everyday,which at some point took me almost two hours before i reached my former office (located somewhere at jalan raja chulan...) n mind u,at that time,i was only staying at gombak...which during odd hour,one can reach kl less than 30mins...how pathetic is that?? but hey,thats what defines kl from other places...take it or leave it,aight??


anyway,having said that,i guess we have to do it,no matter what...maybe as a first step,i should polished my driving skill,like to be extra good at mencilok thingy...or something...i used to be good at it,but not anymore...kudos to all the laid-back drivers at miri n malacca...some of them were driving like 30km/ph i tell u...like nobody business,to be exact,which i dont think i'll be seeing any of these attitude from the KL-rian...all about zooming here n there...always rushing,catching time,as if...unlike myself,n all the other malacca folks (if i may say so... ;p ) we chills!! totally!!


n what scares me most,is that we might be moving there somewhere after eid...which only a couples months away,scareee okehh??? hmmm,but,what else could i do? its an order that my darling ben has to obey...the company obliged him to move,for the sake of his future carrier...makan gaji le plak kannn...maybe Him has something better for us,the whole family,there...who knows...He knows better...


all i can do rite now,is to pray that we could find a decent place to stay (how i wish our lil' home were ready by now,which is totally ridiculous...waaaa!! it'll only be ready somewhere in 2010...)... need to scout for a house to rent,starting today...iskkk...not really my forte,if i may say so...i hate house hunting...pure headache!! maybe i should call for a back-up,i.e. my bros n frens at kl...LOL!! ngelat je kan?? what to do...

update : adlan has been discharged on last thursday,boy,am i glad...hospital make me sick,iskkk...maybe its the ambiance,or creepy surrounding,im not sure...but whatever it is im so glad n blessed that finally my boy has recovered n coming home with me...

been meaning to blog about father's day gift n cards made by my two munchkins earlier,but what with adlan's hospitalization...hence,ive to put it on halt... maybe later...

remember bout d free tixs for an exclusive screening of transformers 2 that i got from d mix.fm roadrunners a day before adlan was hospitalized?? i was thinking to let go d tixs at first,but since adlan is back to being himself already,my darling ben n i decided that we juz went there anyway...plus,'they' need ben there,heheheh...

at noon,we make our way to a wedding...somewhere at jasin...it's ben's officemate getting married,therefore we make it a point to attend...plus,its not that far from our home...merely 20mins drive...so,harus pergi okeh...didnt had a chance to snap any pics for adlan keep on complaining bout the level of d hotness,haiyooo...leceh le...so,after filled up our tummy with d so-so nasi jagung ,hehehe,...went to see d bride (so that he'll know that we did come n passed him d gift that we bought earlier that exact mornin',...) before we make our way home...

after a quick change (what do u expect...i cant be wearing baju kurung n watching transformers at d same time,i refused to do so... ;p) we headed off to GSC,pahlawan mall to redeem n tixs...n to wait for my darling ben...d crowd,let me tell u,its chaotic!! lucky us,we juz find our seats behind d counter...n waited eagerly for d movie to starts...so,once we got d thumbs up to go inside d cinema,i tell u...my boy was delighted!! he was beaming as we walked inside n finding our much awaited seats (thanx to darling ben,we got d chance to pick our seats,how cool is that!!...tq daddy...)

all in all,d movie was superb!! CGI,top notch!! n i heart tyresse ...*drool*...LOL!! bout d movie,what else can i say,its definitely worth every penny n time spent...so,get ur lazy bum off d sloppy couch n go catch d movie,now!! even adia loves bumblee bee...pheww!! at least she's not crazee bout that handsome duhamel,not juz yet i figure...still small...juz give her a few more years,but at that time,duhamel will be too old for her liking... ;p

anyway,we had a blast!! totally!! as we drove home,adlan was sound asleep,penat kot...heheh...whilst adia,what can i say...as usual laarr,slept half way n woke up bout 20mins before d movie ended,classic case of adia ...but,im happy..so as d munchkins...n not forgetting my darling ben...tq,baby...

this morning,we all went to adlan's school for Parent-Teacher's Meeting...basically,to review his progress n performance for the first term...

my darling ben n i has never,not even once pressured him to do well in the test,or to show tremendous progress,or anything like it...he's only 5...our core intention by sending him to join the pre-school last year was mainly because we want him to improve his communication skill,to learn how to socialised,to blend in...so,we never expect much,but he always amazed us in so many ways...all we want is for him to naturally absorbed the learning ambiance,but at the same time not to burden him...some people might against this idea saying that the child will lose their childhood...well,let juz say,peoples opinion may vary...so,we juz did what we think best for our munchkins...

but let me tell u,as we enter the classroom,ive this butterflies in my tummy...soooo lame,right?? LOL!! i know,but,couldnt help it...n to my surprised,n ben as well,our boy has scored straight A's,wooohoooo!!! eventho its only 3 papers but i tell u,we're juz delighted!! a perfect 100% for Math n BM...n 97% for English (the teacher did highlighted the silly mistakes made by him,but we dont really bother coz we're super excited that he did soooo very well....)...not bad huh?? i know that some of u might say that "alaaa,soalan budak 5 tahun,easy peasy..."...but,who cares?? im still proud of my boy... ^__^ ... after spending merely 30mins with the teacher,we went home...beaming proudly...n we're not alone...

in the evening,we went out n guess what?? we bumped into this Mix.fm-Roadrunners...lucky us!! managed to get ourselves a few cool goodies - which also includes a cute t-shirt,GSC's free movie ticket n last but not least,two passes to the premiere screening of 'Transformers - revenge of the fallen'...how cool is that?? so damm lucky!!

then,we're off to ....

Eye on Malaysia....perghh!! its huge,indeed!!

yay!! both of my munchkins are already running around n about,alhamdulillah...

i couldnt be bothered to update my blog for the past few days,knowing that they're laying there,hopelessly,almost vege-like due to the high fever...fenin!!

adlan was finally free from HFMD on tuesday...but,being me,i wont be sure till the doc gave him the green light...so,off he went to school on last thursday,which also means that he'll be able to join the party yesterday (actually,its the Theacher's Day celebration's party,but since his school was closed early,they postponed it to last friday)...all in all,he had a blast!! talked non-stop bout the games he played...

but,rite after adlan was finally ok,nak dijadikan cerita...its adia's turn...she had a frightening high fever,i tell u...her temp did hits 40c on few occassions...scaree!! i know!! i can still recalled the nite,when me n ben barely slept for we're too worried...we keep on sponging her head n body,hopping to bring the temp down...by morning,took her to see dr piang,ASAP!!...luckily,it juz the high fever,nothing else!! pheww!! lega okeh!!

so rite now,they're both fine...and back to their hyper mode,haiyooo...but,i dont mind,at all...as long as they're well,i'll find ways to cope...what an experience....

juz came back fr pantai specialist...y? coz my boy was diagnosed with HFMD!! but,fret not,for he's still in initial stage,Alhamdulillah....

i did wrote bout him having a fever yesterday... but,it never crossed my mind that it was THAT thing...until today,when i tried to put him for a noon nap (somewhere around 2pm...) that i noticed few red spots on his palms n foots...i panicked!! i tell u,i got brain freeze instantly!! luckily my darling ben was calm enough to made me came back to my senses...so,we immediately took him to pantai specialist...

in my mind at that time,was what if he got admitted?? what if they put him on drip?? he sure will freaked out!! i know my boy so well,he's not into syringe...he'll chicken out once he sees one...n the mother of all question,where the hell did he got IT from??

once we reached there,i went straight to emergency (as i was told by d receptionist...) n in no time the nurse took adlan's temperature n weight,...rite after that,he was checked by d doctor in charge...to my relieved,my boy's symptom was not that severe (for he still active,consume his diet well n no mouth ulcer...) n need not to be admitted,nevertheless,i need to observe him n making sure there's no contact with outsider by all means...

so,rite now,ive to quarantine him which means no school for him till he's clear fr it...ive to call the school tomorrow morning to inform them bout his condition...maybe i'll take him off the school for a week,juz to be sure....prevention is better than cure,aight? even in this case,he's the one who needs to be cured...whatever it is,i belief there's a hikmah behind all things that happened to us today...aku redha dengan ujianMu,Ya Allah...

for now,my main corcern is my gal...for she likes to share her foods n drinks with her darling brother,which in this case,definitely a NO-NO !! an again,to make sure they practice a good hygiene,all the time,no matter what....

all i need is a lil' dua' from u readers so that my boy can gained a speed recovery from this disease...insyaAllah...million thanx in advance...

i cant help but wondering how it will be during ramadhan this year...what with el nino thingy...but,hey,who am i to complain...maybe its dugaan from Him...whatever it is,aku redha dengan dugaanMu...

the school will be opened in couple of days,but my boy down with fever,poor baby...he got slightly asthma attack last nite,due to endless coughing...im guessing fatiques is the cause,well,its been a hectic two weeks holiday for us...fr melaka to kedah,then headed off to langkawi..then,fr kedah to selangor,before make our way back to melaka on thursday nite...even i feels unwell...let alone my darling ben,he's knackered!! but to my surprised (not really surprised actually...) my lil' ballerina still dancing n jumping around like nobody business...my goodness!!

so,im planning to juz skipped the cooking n laze around...maybe tomorrow...or not...depend...i reckon i wont have much time either next week as my darling ben will be going for a three days teambuilding organised by the company,haiyooo...what to do,kerjaaa... lalala lalala...(humming to MUH's tune....)

its my 2nd day (ganti pose le...) yay!! luckily im at my MIL's house...so,its kinda easy peasy for me to pose since i'll have a handfull of peeps to help me with d munchkins...am so lucky...alhamdulillah,ive been granted with a wonderful in-laws...heheheh...love them to bits...

im missing my mama n babah already...my babah juz recover fr a worse high fever he ever had...n its really hit d panic button in us,everybody...panic moment,i must say...dare not to remember,it was horrid!! totally!! alhamdulillah,he's doing fine now...

till then...

impromptu vacation...

juz came back from an impromptu trip to langkawi island....bess!! plainly unplanned...very spontaneous...but,we had a blast!!

lucky for us,my dad's fren had a family there...so,everything fr car rental...to finding a motel (since it was school holiday,its kinda hard to find a decent place to stay as we did not make any advance booking..so,at last we settled with a cheap motel somewhere near kuah's town..but,d room that we stayed in was far more than comfy,d exterior view of d motel totally didnt do enough justice to d room itself...) was done by uncle fauzi's relatives...so lucky...so dammm lucky...so,tq sooo much,uncle fauzi n auntie sofia...

since it wasnt plan,so,we dont really had shopping in mind,nor in our to do list...juz a minor grab sane grab sini kinda things...only a major chocolates's shopping,i must say...well,its duty free,mind u... what can i say...

my dad was eager to take us on this trip mainly because of his one n only SIL has never stepped foot in this island...funny ey? he managed to ronda2 US when he studied there,even had time to venture some part of canada...but,never been to langkawi,how sad....thats explain y we did more sight seeing rather than shopping...shopping can wait for next trip,which is a MUST!! ;p

with d time constrained,we managed to go to few of d main attraction there...went to lang square,underwater world,so called makam mahsuri..but,we didnt get a chance to get on d cable car for d queue was damm long...with two hyper munchkins in tow,id say no in a blink of an eye...its obviously a wise decision to make at that very moment,dah le panehh,x kuase den...maybe next time around,insyaAllah...and last but not least pekan kuah...hehehhe...

eventho its juz a short trip,but im fine...at last my darling ben has set his foot on d island...n d munchkins was utterly more than happy,with juz a few moment of nangis2 from adlan coz he didnt get what he want,which in this case,another game boy...hmmmpph...he already got one,hence another new game boy was totally out of picture...luckily my dad listen to me this time,by ignoring his one n only grandson's demand, eventho at some point he almost dismissed my words...haiyaa,manyak manjee ini budak okehh...sebut jek dapat,mane aci...

so,gazillion thanx to mama n babah fot this trip...we had fun...n something to remember by...maybe next time we all can go together2,which includes my two bro...

till then...gotta get buzy with my cousin's wedding tomorrow...

finally,after 5 hours of driving...n few stops at RnR,we finally arrived at my parent's place...alhamdulillah...yay!! i missed them dearly...

hopefully we can go jalan2 before my cousin's wedding on monday...
