there's a short welcome speech by the ms principal herself...then adlan n his other schoolmate were ushered to a designated room,before they were asked to draw on a big white cloth...hehe,at least its akin to the canvas,but cheaper version...ok whatttt....so,without further ado,my boy took out his crayons n color pencils n started to squiggle n doodle like nobody business,isskkk....we were asked to be with our kids for only 30mins,juz to guide them but not to give instruction,hehhe...well,some parent tend to expect their toddler to draw like picasso or our very own reknown artist,allahyarham ibrahim hussein... no wonder our kids now are more stressful by day,coz some parent sometimes expecting too much,n they dont care if their kids are only 3 or 4,or 5,or 6... they juz want another einsten!!
after a good 30 mins (n adlan still squiggling n ruining some of his colleagues's artwork...) we n all the other parents were leads to another room for a briefing as how art can enhanced n stimulates one's brain,esp children ...my husband get so excited bout this that once the briefing is over,he immediately enrolled adlan in one of the art class offered...now we're talking!! hehehe,actually i tried so many times to coax him to let adlan join an art class before,but let juz say seru x sampai lagi...but im so happy today that he could see the advantage of this class could do to a child...its not that i want him to produce an oil painting,enough for him to know how to xpress himself...thats all im asking for...at least with art,he can reduce the stress level n be more productive...its not too much to ask for,rite? am i rite? ...
